The house of the Pic de l'Aurore is perched on a headland providing a unique view of the bays of Perce and Barachois, and the cliffs of the Forillon park.
 
From the panoramic window on the second floor of the house, you will enjoy a view of the tip of the Perce Rock, the Bonaventure Island, and the village of Perce. From the patio door opening on a balcony, you will get a view as far as your eye can see toward Gaspe.

There are 4 bedrooms with 1 queen bed, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room and a dining room on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped like a regular kitchen but there is no dishwasher. Bedding, dishes, kitchen utensils, cooking pots, toaster, coffee-maker, everything is supplied. Take note that we do not supply any cooking pots in non adhesive material like teflon.

On the second level you will find 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, 1 bathroom and a living room. This house accommodate up to 12 persons very comfortably. 27"TV(cable),CD, DVD and VHS player are also supplied. Smoking is forbidden in this house.

No daily clean up is done during your stay, but it is possible for a supplement of 65 $ + taxes to get a summary clean up on the wednesday.

On the premises there is an outdoorplayground for children and you also have access to mountain trails. For swimming there is a swimming pool in the centre of Percé and a magnificent sandy beach 7 kilometres to the east ( Coin du Banc).

Rental is by the week, beginning on the Saturday around 6:00 pm and endind the following saturday at 10:00 am.

AVAILABILITY OF THE HOUSE

The price is in CA $ for a maximum of 12 persons. An amount of $ 50 per week will be charge for each extra person over 14. A 3% lodging tax, and a sales tax of 12,88% must be added.

Deposit policy for the house is a first amount of 250 $ per week, refundable less a service charge of 20% if cancelled 60 days before arrival but no later than March 15th. 60 days before your arrival but at the latest on March 16th, a second deposit is necessary for a total non-refundable deposit representing 50% of your stay.

You can send us a check or provide a credit card number. Please do not forget your expiration date and card holder's name.

Flash on the Gaspe Peninsula

The Gaspé Peninsula, Gaspesia or just the Gaspé (la Gaspésie in French) is a North American peninsula on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, in Quebec, Canada. It extends into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and is bounded on the south by New Brunswick, from which it is partially divided by Chaleur Bay and the Restigouche River.

The interior is rugged, being a northward extension of the Appalachian Mountains. A section of the International Appalachian Trail travels along the peninsula. Route 132 circles the peninsula, with one branch following the coast and the other cutting across the peninsula at Sainte-Flavie. Forillon National Park is found at the northeastern tip of the Gaspé.

Together with the Magdalen Islands, the Gaspé makes up the Quebec region of Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine.

A town on the peninsula is also called Gaspé; see Gaspé, Quebec. The easternmost point of the peninsula jutting into the Gulf of St. Lawrence is called Cap Gaspé. The name "Gaspé" comes from a Mi'kmaq word gespeg meaning "land's end".
